"Floating clouds, flowing river..."
This was done with the help of a chat client called IMVU. You can create avatars. Dress them how you want with hair, eyes, skintone, clothing etc. Then you place them in rooms and add furniture of all sorts.
With this particular picture I took a snapshot of the princess and then cut and paste the prince into it.
